Lake County’s defense makes a stop against West Carroll last week in a 13-0 shutout win that kept the Falcons undefeated in Region 7-1A play. Richardson Media Group

REGION 6-1A

Bruceton (4-3, 1-1) at McKenzie (5-2, 2-0)

Previous result: 2025 - McKenzie 49, Bruceton 6

Players to watch: Bruceton QB Easton Bullington; McKenzie RB Jayden Callis

What to know: The Carroll County rivals are meeting with region implications on the line. The Tigers didn’t have a quality showing last week and need to be more focused on doing the little things to try to slow down the Rebels.

REGION 7-1A

South Fulton (5-1, 2-1) at Lake Co. (4-2, 2-0)

Previous result: 2025 - Lake Co. 22, South Fulton 20

Players to watch: South Fulton WR Mason Parrish; Lake Co. lineman Javoisi Boyd

What to know: This is an important week for playoff seeding in the region. If Lake County wins this game, they’ve got the inside track on a top-two finish and a home playoff game that comes with it with some big games left to play. If South Fulton wins, they pull the Falcons from the list of region unbeatens and forces them to need to win out to compete for the championship.

Dresden (3-4, 2-1) at Greenfield (4-3, 1-2)

Previous result: 2025 - Dresden 42, Greenfield 14

Players to watch: Dresden WR Ayden Flora; Greenfield DB Jerry Foley

What to know: Both teams have already lost to region-leading Humboldt. Greenfield has also lost to South Fulton. So there’s plenty to gain and plenty to lose for both teams in this matchup.

Gleason (0-7, 0-3) at West Carroll (0-7, 0-4)

Previous result: 2025 - Gleason 51, West Carroll 20

Players to watch: Gleason LB James Flaurr; West Carroll K Parker Newman

What to know: Both of these team enter this game without any wins.

REGION 8-1A

Middleton (0-7, 0-3) at BT Washington (0-6, 0-3)

Previous result: 2025 - Middleton 31, BT Washington 8

Players to watch: Middleton LB Colton McElhone

What to know: This game is the same situation as the Gleason-West Carroll game.

REGION 7-3AWestview (7-0, 3-0) at Bolivar (2-5, 2-2)

Previous result: 2025 - Westview 58, Bolivar 6

Players to watch: Westview K Kinzer Pratt; Bolivar QB Kaynon Swift

What to know: What Bolivar has going for it is there’s not a lot of film on their offense in its current form after they made some personnel changes and put some players in different positions. But will it be enough to slow down the juggernaut from Martin?

REGION 7-4AChester Co. (3-4, 1-3) at South Side (0-6, 0-3)

Previous result: 2025 - South Side 35, Chester Co. 3

Players to watch: Chester Co. RB Chase Daniel; South Side lineman David Hardin

What to know: The Hawks had two weeks to prepare for this one, while Chester County was upset last week. The Eagles need all the help they can get for a playoff spot because they’re now listed sixth of eight teams in the region. But if the season ended today, they’d lose the head-to-head tiebreaker to Dyer County and fall to seventh. Either way, they need to win out to make a push for the postseason.

REGION 8-4A

Fayette-Ware (2-4, 0-2) at Ridgeway (0-6, 0-2)

Previous result: Fayette-Ware 51, Ridgeway 6

Players to watch: Fayette-Ware WR Laquan Armour

What to know: The season hasn’t gone well so far for Fayette-Ware, but it’s gone worse so far for Ridgeway. The good thing for the Wildcats is they’re one of four teams who haven’t won a region game yet. So if they can get wins over the other three - beginning with this game - they’ll be in good shape for a playoff spot.

REGION 7-5A

Clarksville NW (2-5, 0-2) at Henry Co. (3-4, 2-0) (Thursday)

Previous result: 2025 - Henry Co. 52, Clarksville NW 7

Players to watch: Henry Co. lineman Malik Jackson

What to know: The Patriots are 1-4 in non-region games, but their one win is over one of the better 4A programs in the state. So those games are meant to prepare Henry County for region games. So far that’s appeared to be the case.

REGION 8-5A

Overton (4-3, 0-1) at Munford (5-1, 1-0)

Previous result: 2025 - Munford 68, Overton 0

Players to watch: Munford DB Jaheim Smith

What to know: The Cougars responded nicely last week to their loss the week before with a dominant region victory. They will look to do the same again this week.

DIVISION II-A WEST

Fayette Aca. (3-4, 1-2) at TCA (5-1, 3-1)

Previous result: 2025 - TCA 49, Fayette Aca. 14

Players to watch: Fayette Aca. LB Brady Lansdell; TCA WR Reid Williamson

What to know: Trinity Christian got a big win last week on a big night for the athletic program on campus. Fayette Academy is aiming for a playoff spot and could get more if the Vikings can play up a level or two and surprise the Lions.

NON-REGION

Huntingdon (7-0) at Harpeth (1-6)

Previous result: 2025 - Huntingdon 59, Harpeth 6

Players to watch: Huntingdon KR Kshun Carter

What to know: There’s not much that indicates Huntingdon fans should be worried about this matchup as long as they stay focused, but if nothing else, the long trip will be a good chance for the younger Mustangs to get used to a long trip in the playoffs.

Raleigh-Egypt (5-2) at Peabody (4-3)

Previous result: 2025 - Peabody 58, Raleigh-Egypt 12

Players to watch: Peabody RB Michael Dunlap

What to know: Another non-region game for the Golden Tide against a small school from Memphis, but this one is winning more than it’s losing. So Raleigh-Egypt doesn’t look beforehand like a big chance for the Tide to build depth with young players getting in early.

North Side (4-2) at Liberty (6-0)

Previous result: 2025 - North Side 49, Liberty 0

Players to watch: North Side QB Wade Lowe; Liberty RB Jayden Groce

What to know: This is easily Liberty’s biggest challenge of the season with a Class 4A team with athletes all over the field to match Liberty. North Side will probably be the favorite in this matchup, but probably not many people are expecting the Indians to lead 54-0 at halftime like they were a couple years ago.

(1-6), Camden (2-5), Covington (6-1), Dyersburg (4-3), McNairy (4-3), Ripley (1-6), Obion Co. (3-4), Lexington (7-0), Crockett Co. (6-1), Hardin Co. (3-4), South Gibson (3-4), Dyer Co.
