Takeaway: Gleason’s struggles on both sides of the ball continue.
Humboldt 42, Dresden 28
Takeaway: While Lake County remains undefeated in Region 7-1A play, the Vikings have a pretty firm grip on probable top two finish in the region since they’ve already beaten the two teams who were top two last year.
Lake Co. 25, Fulton Co., Kent. 20

South Fulton 46, Ballard Memorial, Kent. 14

Adamsville 55, Tishomingo, Miss. 35
Takeaway: This was a test as both teams entered with one loss and Adamsville’s offense was too much.
Riverside 48, Loretto 0
Takeaway: The Panthers scored early and often to pick up this region win on a long road trip.
Mt. Pleasant 35, Scotts Hill 7

Bolivar 27, McNairy 26
Takeaway: The Tigers lost this matchup last year and still made it to the playoffs via tiebreaker in a three-way tie with McNairy and Obion. Seeing how the other two have won more non-region games, the Tigers need to keep winning in region to avoid that situation this year.

Haywood 44, Fayette-Ware 0
Takeaway: Fayette-Ware has issues on the defensive side of the ball they’re trying to get corrected, but their remaining region games are winnable and give them a solid shot at making the playoffs.
Brentwood 35, Henry Co. 0
Takeaway: Brentwood beat Henry County as bad as it beat Page, who beat Henry Co. last week.
Whitehaven 40, Munford 13
Takeaway: Whitehaven has done something that doesn’t happen often, and that’s keeping the Cougars to two scores.
