Takeaway: The Lions had a hard time making stops, especially in the second half.

Humboldt 40, Greenfield 0

Takeaway: The Vikings have beaten most of the usual contenders for Region 7-1A championship.

Lake Co. 13, West Carroll 0 

Takeaway: The Falcons have seen success since switching to a version of the single wing offense a few weeks back.

South Fulton 41, Gleason 0

Takeaway: The Red Devils are trying to keep pace with the leaders in the region.

Middle College 38, Middleton 6

Takeaway: Middle College leads the region and showed their worth in this victory.

Oakhaven 35, Fayette-Ware 0

Takeaway: The Wildcats struggled in this loss to a 1A program.

Takeaway: The Cardinals have put up some gaudy statistics this season and continued doing so in this win.

Takeaway: The Mustangs continue to show dominance over playoff-caliber teams in Class 2A.

Takeaway: Any hope the Lions had of seeing success against the struggling Panthers went away quickly.

Takeaway: The Bulldogs were taking no prisoners in this matchup.

Takeaway: Unless the Golden Tide were to pull off some upsets toward the end of the season, fourth in the region is probably the best they can do, but this win will help toward that goal.

Takeaway: Camden has only won two games so far, but they’re 2-1 in Region 6-3A play.

Takeaway: The Cavaliers came out strong in this one and controlled it for four quarters.

Takeaway: The Chargers dominated once again.

Covington 50, Bolivar 0

Takeaway: Covington seems to have figured out is ground game on offense because Bolivar had been successful in slowing down other teams’ rushing attacks.

Takeaway: After a heart-breaking loss last week, the Bobcats have begun their campaign to force another tie for fourth place in the region and possibly get into the playoffs.

Lexington 27, South Gibson 10

Takeaway: The Tigers can wrap up the region championship with one more league win.

Takeaway: The Indians have emphatically begun making their case for third in the region.

Takeaway: The Choctaws ended a four-game losing streak, meanwhile, Chester County has now lost three straight.

Takeaway: The Tomcats dominated again on both sides of the ball.
